After two years of events that couldn’t happen and interrupted plans and convoluted performances and postponed dreams, it is all the more joyful to see our kids being kids.
These pictures were taken at our kids’ field day at school, where Marilee hula hooped for a VERY long time and the red team won the prize for spirit and the field was awash in color and laughter and delight.
As we head into the summer, this is just a reminder to walk away from screens, get outside, use our bodies, find a hat or a tutu, and play.
