I am really excited to say that To Be Made Well is available for pre-order (here). I’ve been working on this book for years. It is thrilling to have a title and a cover and an opportunity to share it with you!

To Be Made Well: An Invitation to Healing, Wholeness, and Hope will be published with Herald Press in March of 2022. But you can pre-order it now, and if you suspect you’d like to read this book, it’s a huge help to me if you go ahead and pre-order it. That little click indicates your interest in the book, which tells the publisher and the sales reps and the bookstores that this is a book people want to read!

This book is a result of questions.

To Be Made Well is the result of the questions I’ve been asking about the personal, physical, emotional and social harm in my life and in the world. I write about my own story of healing in conversation with a passage from Mark’s Gospel where Jesus heals a woman who has been bleeding for twelve years and then raises a little girl from death to life.

This book is about…

To Be Made Well is a book about the nature of healing, what keeps us from healing, and how we can participate in healing. For anyone struggling with pain or loss, for anyone concerned about the things that divide us, this book goes beyond wellness and beyond miraculous physical transformations to explore how we can—personally and collectively—be made well.

You Can Pre-Order Now!

I would LOVE for you to be one of the first people to show your interest in this book and pre-order it now
