Be honest.
Be humble.
Begin healing.
Bring healing.
I had a chance to preach the final sermon in a series on healing at our church this past week. I talked about four movements towards healing that we see again and again in the gospels and that we are invited into here and now. I also offered spiritual practices to accompany each movement.
I talked about how we can pay attention to pain, ask for help from God and others, receive the healing love God has for us, and bring that same healing love into our broken world.
