Our family was featured in a documentary called Normie. It’s a film that tells the story of Annemarie, a young adult with Down syndrome, as she wrestles with the idea of being “normal.” It’s also a coming-of-age story for all of us who have wrestled with questions of identity and goodness and God and whether our lives have any purpose or meaning.
AND our family got to be in it.
I’m telling you about this again now because I’ve just learned that Normie is now available for streaming. It’s a great family movie that includes a mentalist (aka magician), a tattooed pastor from Seattle, a medical doctor, and a girl named Penny dancing in her local production of the Nutcracker.
You can view the trailer and stream the film here. I hope you love it as much as we do.
