Drop-in Book Talk: November 9th at 12:30 p.m. on Zoom over lunch to discuss White Picket Fences: Turning toward Love in a World Divided by Privilege by our very own Amy Julia Becker! White Picket Fences is a memoir about acknowledging the harm of privilege and responding to that harm with love. Beginning with her childhood in North Carolina and tracing her life through studying at Princeton to raising her children, Amy Julia explores her role in a culture that constructs dividing walls around racial identity, ability, and economic status. We hope you will join us for a time to reflect on the book, to share with your colleagues, and hopefully learn something new. Amy Julia Becker will join us to answer questions and share her story.
